Pets and their owners may camp in selected yurts & cabins in 2009
OPRD will offer a few yurts and cabins around the state to pet owners and their dogs or cats during a 2009 pilot project. You will be able to call and make a reservation this year for stays next year, but don't call for a reservation yet! We will announce the pilot test parks and start taking reservations for stays starting in 2009 as soon as possible.

The calendars, which sell for $11.95, may be purchased by calling the Oregon State Parks Information Center, 1-800-551-6949 and using either a VISA or MasterCard credit card. They also are available through the Oregon State Parks Trust.
The Junior Ranger program gives kids a chance to explore a state park. By becoming a Junior Ranger, visitors 6-12 years old will get involved with plants, animals and park protection.
