Park status
Champoeg State Heritage Area. Park and campground open. Campground dump station closed. A 1.5 mile section of the bike trail is closed due to downed trees.
Tryon State Natural Area. Footbridge on the Middle Creek Trail is closed. Water damage. For a map and detailed information, visit http://www.tryonfriends.org/
Silver Falls State Park. Entire Canyon trail closed. Loop trail that passes behind South Falls is closed. The Bike Trail and the Maple Ridge Trail are closed. The various multi-use trails have not been checked, but are expected to have downed trees and snow. The Rim Trail and the Winter Trail (from Winter Falls to the Canyon Trail) are open. The trail heads and South Falls Day Use Area are open.
Devil's Lake. Park closed. Flooding.
Stub Stewart State Park- Campgrounds open.
Banks-Vernonia State Trail- All trailheads are currently blocked due to large amounts of snow. The trail system is closed until staff can clean up storm damage.
Sarah Helmick State Park. Closed due to flooding
Milo McIver State Park. Riverbend day use and disc golf course closed.
North Boat Ramp at Government Island - Closed due to broken docks from snow and ice.

Carl Washburne campsite closures Nov. 4
A project to upgrade electrical and water hookup service will close several sites this fall. The work beginning Nov. 4 will close A-Loop sites 2 through 15 and 22 through 29.

La Pine State Park campground closed Oct. 20, 2008 - May 1, 2009
The campground will be closed during a project to upgrade the electrical service to the electrical and full hookup sites. The entire campground will be closed due to service interruptions and construction traffic. The Day Use area restroom will be closed. Hiking trails remain open.

Alfred Loeb shower building closed
The shower building is closed until further notice. Campers may show their receipt from Loeb and shower at Harris Beach free of charge. Restrooms remain open.

Bridge construction adjacent to Beverly Beach State Park
The Oregon Department of Transportation is building the new Spencer Creek Bridge adjacent to the park. Some construction activities may cause loud noise during your stay at Beverly Beach. Work also may occur in the evenings and on Saturdays. The beach access trail may be closed for short periods. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. Work is scheduled to be finished in late 2008.
