- Oregon Commission on Historic Cemeteries Meeting July 16, 1-4:30 at the Klamath County Museum. Join the commission to learn more about historic cemeteries and preservation. - Cemetery Marker Repair Workshop July 17, 9-3 at the Fort Klamath Cemetery. The FREE Cemetery Preservation Basics Workshop will be geared towards people or groups that want to know the basics about how to plan and care for the historic gravemarkers. NOTE REGARDING HISTORIC OPEN HOUSES:
Senate Bill 192 that was passed during the 2009 Legislative Session contained revisions to the Special Assessment of Historic Property tax benefit program. One of those revisions in the bill was the elimination of the open house requirement for historic property oweners, therefore, we will no longer be posting a monthly open house list.
