Juvenile Correction Population Forecasting Advisory Committee
The Juvenile Correction Population Forecasting Advisory Committee was formed in 1998 to develop projections regarding the juvenile correctional population. The Committee's projections enable state policy makers to plan appropriately for the needs of that population. The Governor appoints committee members for four-year terms based on the members' knowledge of the juvenile justice system and trends that may affect the juvenile offender population.
